- How safe is my personal information?
- EXBU.com does not sell, rent or release your personal information to any third party. All of the information is kept securely in our database. No other users or visitor of the web site can see any of your personal information. Only your email address will be released to a buyer or seller (depending on which end of the transaction you will be) after a completed sale.

- What about encryption?
- To assure your security, all of the areas of the web site that display sensitive information use SSL connection. This allows your information to be sent to our servers via encrypted format to ensure that a third party will not be able to view this information if it is intersepted. Also, our website is authenticated by a Secure Authentication Authority, Comodo Class 3 Security Services. This ensures that the site that you are logging into is actually EXBU.com and not a phishing site. On some pages we have "Point to Verify" logos. By either clicking on them or holding your pointer over them you can receive certificate information for EXBU.com from Comodo Security Services.

- Why I don't see a little lock on the bottom of the browser window?
- EXBU.com is made in frames, and this does not allow the display of the little lock on the bottom of your screen However, the actual page is still encrypted in the same manner as those that do have a little lock icon. To verify this you can first look at the address bar of the window, it should begin with "https" instead of "http". You can also go to File->Properties. Next to 'Connection' you should see the type of connection that your browser has made with the web server. A secure connection will indicate SSL, and how many bit encryption is used. Most of the current browsers will use a 128 bit encryption. You can also view the certificate issued by the Secure Authentication Authority.

- What is different about EXBU.com from other textbook exchanges?
- Your personal information is secure and cannot be seen and collected by "robots" that collect this type of information from web sites to send Spam. You can find and exchange not only textbooks, but also books, term papers, essays, class notes, research project and other school related work. People who wish to offer their tutoring services may also do so on the web site.

- What about plagiarism?
- EXBU.com feels strongly against plagiarizing other people's work. We try to provide a more open information exchange and encourage people to share their work with others only for purposes of sharing information and facilitating better learning. We can only encourage students to Not plagiaries other's works and only use them for reference.

- What if there's something that I would like to see added or changed on the site?
- All of the suggestions and student input to improve the web site, including adding additional services, changing existing services, or whatever other suggestion you may have, will be greatly appreciated. All of the registered users are able to email us those suggestions by logging in and clicking on Suggestions in Help section.
